Double Jumbo!

The verdict is in!  And as most of you probably know, we are staying in Boston for another four years.  We were all pretty shocked... Well, Sebastian was happy or at least he appeared that way (all smiles, giggles, and chuckles).  Both Matt and I were convinced that we were leaving Boston.  The thought of staying here had never even crossed our minds.  So, Matt will be a double Jumbo!  For those of you who don't know what that means... The Tufts' mascot is Jumbo the elephant.  Once the dust settles, we will be able to wrap our minds around the situation.  There are a lot of positives.  We have great friends here and the residency experience should be fantastic.

Match day was as stressful as everyone says.  Fortunately, we brought along our little clown!  I don't think either of us would have made it through the day without Sebastian's adorable smile.  He was such a trooper.  We woke him up earlier, dragged him to brunch and then downtown.  He never cried, not even for a second.  He also didn't nap until nearly 2p!  He, literally, fell asleep upright while one of Matt's classmates, Andy Hale, was holding him!  Perfect little guy.

I am throwing up the pictures we took today!  As always, very few pictures of Matt and me together were taken.  Also, huge congratulations to all of Matt's classmates!  Especially, to Moe!  It is amazing to think about the long journey that started in 2005 at Tufts when we were all post-bacs.  There were many ups and downs but we couldn't be happier for you.  Also, to the Delmans... we are sad that you will be heading to North Carolina but we wish you the best of luck (and the glory of sunshine!).  Jay and Shannon- Burlington will treat you well!  And to all of those who are here with us... The Einsteins, Hale/Perrys and Coffins, get ready for the insanity of intern year in Boston!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.

xoxo

We also took a few pictures over the week that I never posted.  Sebastian was introduced to the jogging stroller!  So far, so good.  We will continue to get him outside as the weather improves.
